ivtv-utils software package provides utilities for use with the ivtv kernel driver, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ivtv-utils
ivtv-utils is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ivtv-utils package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ivtv-utils *
You will get with ivtv-utils package name, version, architecture and description in a table
